Summer Journey

Summer is here, and the Pilgrim Pouch is ready for adventure! In July the Pouch & I will be exploring Camino Primitivo in northern Spain. This route, called "The Original Way," was the first established path in the 9th c. to Santiago. 

Stay tuned for blog posts on this historical trail that begins in Oviedo and ends in Santiago de Compostela.

On a preparation walk, the Pouch & I hike at Ramona Grasslands Preserve. The Preserve comprises over 4,000 acres of native grasslands with trails throughout.

The Pilgrim Pouch rests on a post by California Oak trees that give shade on a hot day. The Pouch's convenient 9.25"x 10"x 1.5" size leaves plenty of room for a water bottle, sun lotion, & cell phone.
